FUKUOKA FAIR IN DELHI

Fukuoka Prefecture, located in an important gateway to Asia, has had twin city cooperation with NCT of Delhi since 2007.
On 18 October 2008, Fukuoka prefectural government will hold “Fukuoka Fair in Delhi” at Oberoi Hotel in order to deepen and expand relations with people in Delhi.
At the Fair, important industries in Fukuoka will be introduced and there will be robot show performance. Tourism and traditional handicrafts in the region may attract visitors. Visitors may have a chance to get high quality handicrafts through lottery and to taste Japanese tea and sweets. Students will also have chance to get information of Japanese Universities in Fukuoka and to establish contacts with participating universities.
In order to electrifying the atmosphere of the Fair, there will also be performance by Kokura Gion Daiko Drum Group.
